Experience from previous years has shown that the exact distance is more important for many competitors, which is why we are introducing new names for the distances, where all our events feature the specific kilometer number.
- The previously named “Individual Short Distance” in Veszprém will be held on a 10 km course, so the new name for this distance is: “Individual 10K”.
- Our new distance is 6 km, which has been named “Individual 6K”.

Obstacle Course Racing – individual competition
REGISTRATION FEE INCLUDES THE FOLLOWING
- participation on the event;
- Permanent Fighters’ Run BIB number headband, what you have to keep after the race. On the next event you must bring it again – more info about our about our start number system here;

COURSE, DIFFICULTY
The course map will be published after the event.
- Individual 6K: the distance is 6 km, minimum 20 obstacles, slightly hilly terrain with good running sections, the course is approximately 50% asphalt, 50% off-road, Penalty loop: wolf crawl
- Individual 10K: the distance is 10 km, minimum 25 obstacles, slightly hilly terrain with good running sections, the course is approximately 30% asphalt, 70% off-road, Penalty loop: wolf crawl
AGE LIMIT
- The minimum age limit for the Individual race is 15 years old on the day of the competition.
- There is no upper age limit.
START TIMING
- Individual 6K: starts from 9:00 AM, a maximum of 80 people can start in each heat;
- Individual 10K: starts from 11:30 AM, a maximum of 80 people can start in each heat;
- We ask our competitors to carefully consider which distance they register for, as there is no possibility to switch between distances later (e.g., in case of injury).

FIGHTERS’ RUN FANATIC
A Fighters’ Run Fanatic loyalty program awards points for completing ADULT OBSTACLE COURSE RACES, which you can redeem for cool pieces from the Fighters’ Run Fanatic collection! Completing the Fighters’ Run Veszprém Individual 6K and 10K also counts as 1 point each! For more details about the program we are at your disposal at info@fightersrun.com!
EVENT T-SHIRT
- Two types of registration are available for Fighters’ Run events: ECO and Premium. The price of the ECO package is more favorable and does not include an event t-shirt, while the Premium package includes a MIZUNO event t-shirt.

CATEGORIES
- ALPHA HEATS – competitive heats
- Based on time measurement, absolute and age-group podium winners are announced;
- Helping each other is not permitted in any way in these races.
- BETA HEATS – non-competitive heats
- Finishers can also view their results based on time measurement, but there is no prize awarding in these races;
- Helping each other is permitted in the manner specified in the Race and Obstacle Regulations.
AWARDS
The method of awarding prizes is as follows for both the Individual 6K and Individual 10K distances:
- We award the absolute female and male 1st-3rd place winners in the Alpha heats;
- Also in the Alpha heats, results are announced in 5 age-group categories (15-20, 21-30, 31-40, 41-50, 50+);
- There is no awarding of prizes in the Beta heats.
AWARD CEREMONY
- An award ceremony will be held for the best performers in the Alpha heats at the competition.
- Award winners must bring a photo ID to the award ceremony – this is a condition for receiving the prize!
- Prizes will only be presented within the framework of the award ceremony. We ask athletes to honor the competition and their competitors with their personal presence and to appear punctually at the award ceremony. Prizes will not be handed over or mailed to winners who do not participate in the award ceremony afterwards.
WE AWAIT YOU WITH A GIFT
If you pay your entry fee in cash at our race office, the registrant can choose one gift item from the previous years’ Marathonman events! The promotion is available while stocks last.
START PACKAGE PICK UP
- The condition for pick up the start package is the digital signing of the liability declaration in the StafétApp, The QR code, which belongs to the registration and can be found in the StafétApp, must be presented.
- Start packages can be collected on the Thursday before the competition at our race office in Budapest (address: 1134 Budapest, Tüzér utca 9-11.), at the venue between 4 PM and 7 PM on the afternoon before the competition, or on the day of the competition – we recommend that competitors do not leave the bib number collection until the last minute and arrive at the event 1.5 hours before their start;
- On-site registration and start package distribution for all heats close 30 minutes before the start time.
REFRESHMENT
- We don’t use plastic or single-use paper cups at our refreshment stations.
- We have adopted a slogan and method that has worked well in our other events: BRING YOUR OWN CUP! Participants pour the hypotonic drink and water into their own cup, bottle, or liquid container at the refreshment stations. By this solution we significantly reduce the generated waste of our events.
- Full refreshment:
- The Individual 6K distance will have 1 refreshment point on the course and 1 at the finish line, while the Individual 10K distance will have 2 refreshment points on the course and 1 at the finish line.
- At these points, we offer the hypotonic sports drink <i:am> mineral+energy drink. The harmonious balance of carbohydrates, electrolytes, and water in this product ensures you receive a solution that replaces all other refreshments.
- The points will also offer fresh fruit, dried fruit, biscuits, pretzels, salt, and, of course, water.
TIMING
We use chip timing, the chip must be worn on your wrist during the race. Time results are available on the Runtiming.hu website during/after the race.
Attention! The chip must be handed in at the finish line! We charge additional fee for the device not returned!
CUT OFF TIME AND COURSE CLOSING TIME
- cut off time: none at this event;
- course closing time: at 15:30 – all participants must arrive at the finish line by this time.
MEDICAL SUPERVISION
There are medical staff at the race center, they help for racers into trouble at the whole race area during the event.
REGISTRATION

- After registration, the start time (heat time) cannot be modified! The entry cannot be switched to a different distance / location, nor can it be modified from individual to team competition and vice versa!
- We ask our competitors to carefully consider which distance they register for, as there is no possibility to switch between distances later (e.g., in case of injury).
- On-site registration is only possible if there are free spots remaining!
ENTRY TRANSFER
- In case the competitor is prevented from participating, the entry can be transferred to another person, even on the day of the event. The transfer closes 30 minutes before the start!
- The transfer process:
- the original owner of the entry must request the transfer of the entry via our email address info@fightersrun.com – as the entry needs to be moved from their profile to the new competitor’s profile;
- the email must contain the following:
- the name of the event: “FIGHTERS’ RUN VESZPRÉM EGYÉNI 6K” or “FIGHTERS’ RUN VESZPRÉM EGYÉNI 10K”
- the name and registration code / email address of the original owner;
- the name of the new owner;
- the email address of the new owner;
- the new owner’s T-shirt size – the modified T-shirt size can only be guaranteed if it is in stock;
- if the new owner has a headband, the headband number, if they do not have a headband, the nickname to be placed on the headband;
- in case of Alpha heat registration, the new participant’s date of birth, their headband number, or if they do not have a headband, a nickname of maximum 10 characters to be placed on the headband;
- It is important that the new owner also has a registered and fully filled-out profile in the StafétApp, otherwise we will not be able to process the entry transfer!
- ATTENTION! There is NO possibility to switch heats or change categories (Alpha to Beta, or vice versa) during the entry transfer!
- The online transfer option can be arranged until March 11, 2026; for transfers later than this date, the entry re-registration will take place at the venue;
- The entry transfer is FREE OF CHARGE!
- Note: Since the entry transfer itself is conducted between a second and a third party, we are unable to modify the invoice belonging to the original registration.

ATTENTION!
- Registration becomes final upon arrival of the payment; not paid registrations will be automatically deleted by the system after the deadline.
- We are unable to accept payment via postal checks. The registration fee sent by postal check will be immediately refunded by the bank.
- Registration fee must be paid in one payment.
- Invoice can only be issued for the name and address provided in the registration; it is not possible to split or modify the invoice.
- Any separated fees received will be refunded to the sender after deducting bank charges.
ETIQUETTE OF RUNNERS
- We are all guests during the event. It is essential to return the venue same cleanly at least as we received it.
- We kindly ask our participants to provide help if they see a runner in trouble, even if it means to loosing race time.
- We all are runners. We do not differentiate ourselves based on skin color, religion, age, or gender.
- It doesn’t matter where we come from, or how fast we run. Our love for the sport and the mutual respect for each other unites us.
- Staff do their best and provides encouragement. We ask the participants to show their appreciation with good mood and smile.
- True, this is a race, but the rules of fair play must always be kept in mind. Whether winning or losing, it is essential to compete with integrity, dignity, and by meeting both written and unwritten rules. This is what makes the experience unforgettable!
