DISTANCE NAMES HAVE CHANGED!

Based on feedback from previous years, we’ve found that many competitors prefer knowing the exact distance. That’s why we are introducing new names for our distances, where every event will feature the specific number of kilometers.

The race formerly known as “Team Short Distance” in Veszprém is held on a 10 km course; therefore, its new name is “Team 10K”.

RACE TYPE
Obstacle Course Race  – team competion, 10 km.
Team members must run the course together and finish together, completing the race with special rules regarding obstacles and the course.

 

REGISTRATION FEE INCLUDES THE FOLLOWING

  • participation on the event;
  • chip timing;
  • environmentally friendly and complete refresment on the course;
  • medical supervision during the competition;
  • non-alcoholic beer at the finish line;
  • cool and uniqe finisher medal (only for finishers);
  • optional: Mizuno event e-shirt;
  • goulash party;
  • free race photos;

COURSE, DIFFICULTY

  • race map: will be published after the race weekend;
  • the distance is 10 km, minimum 25 obstacles, slightly hilly terrain with good running sections, the course is approximately 30% asphalt, 70% off-road
  • type of penalty: penalty loop – it depends on how many team members failed the obstacle: “wolf crawl” (bear crawl), or partner carry;
  • team will recieves only 1 timing chip.

AGE LIMIT

The minimum age for the Team Competition is 12 years old at the time of the event. For participants between the ages of 12 and 15, a minimum height of 150 cm is required. Additionally, they must be accompanied by an adult (over 18) who is also a registered participant and completes the course together with the child. There is no upper age limit.

START TIMES:

  • the teams start  from 11:00 to 12:00 AM – we will start each team separately, the exact start times will be published 1 week before the race;
  • in case of the team competition, it is not possible to register to a specific race time, the organiser determines start times depending on the number of teams;
  • Starting details:
    • first group: men’s teams – mixed teams – women’s  teams of 2 people;
    • second group: men’s teams – mixed teams – women’s teams of 3 people;
    • third group: men’s teams- mixed teams- women’s team of 4 people.

Fighters’ Run Fanatic is a Loyalty Program. After you completed ADULT OBSTACLE RACES we give points for the racers, in exchange for the points they can collect the pieces of cool Fighters’ Run Fanatic collection!

EVENT T-SHIRT

  • Two types of registration are available for Fighters’ Run events: ECO and Premium. The price of the ECO package is more favorable and does not include an event t-shirt, while the Premium package includes a MIZUNO event t-shirt.
  • We will show the t-shirt soon, the size chart is available by clicking here!

CATEGORIES:

  • two members team for women, two members team for men, two members mixed team; three members team for women, three members team for men, three members mixed team; four members team for women, four members team for men, four members mixed team;
  • we awarding the podium finishers of the teams in each category;
  • helping each other is allowed as indicated in the Race and Obstacles Rules.

AWARDS:

  • We award prizes the absolute 1st-3rd places of 2-, 3-, and 4-members female-, male-, and mixed teams.

AWARD CEREMONY

  • at the competition, the results will be announced among the best teams.
  • prize winners must bring a photo identification document to the ceremony – this is a criterion for receiving the prize!
  • prizes are awarded exclusively during the ceremony. We ask the athletes to honor the competition and the competitors with their personal presence, and to appear punctually at the award ceremony. Prize winners who do not participate in the ceremony will not be given or mailed a prize afterwards.

WE HAVE A GIFT FOR YOU!
If you pay the registration fee in cash in our race office, you can choose one from the presence of previous years’ events! This promotion is available while the supply lasts.

START PACKAGE PICK UP

  • The condition for pick up the start package is the digital signing of the liability declaration in the StafétApp,  The QR code, which belongs to the registration and can be found in the StafétApp, must be presented.
  • Start packages can be collected on the Thursday before the competition at our race office in Budapest (address: 1134 Budapest, Tüzér utca 9-11.), at the venue between 4 PM and 7 PM on the afternoon before the competition, or on the day of the competition – we recommend that competitors do not leave the bib number collection until the last minute and arrive at the event 1.5 hours before their start;
  • On-site registration and start package distribution for all heats close 30 minutes before the start time.

REFRESHMENT

  • We don’t use plastic or single-use paper cups at our refreshment stations.
  • We have adopted a slogan and method that has worked well in our other events: BRING YOUR OWN CUP! Participants pour the hypotonic drink and water into their own cup, bottle, or liquid container at the refreshment stations. By this solution we significantly reduce the generated waste of our events.
  • Full refreshment:
    • At the Team race 10K, there will be 2 refreshment stations on the course and one in the finish.
    • At these points, we offer <i:am> mineral+energy hypotonic sports drink. This product provides a balanced combination of carbohydrates, electrolytes, and water to replace all other refreshment solutions.
    • At the stations we provide normal and dried fruits, crackers, salt and water, of course.
TIMING

We use chip timing, every team gets only 1 chip which must be worn on one team member’s wrist during the race. Time results are available on the Runtiming.hu website during/after the race.
Attention! The chip and headband must be handed in at the finish line! We charge additional fee for the device not returned!

CUT OFF TIME AND COURSE CLOSING TIME

  • cut off time: none at this event;
  • course closing time: at 14:30 – all participants must arrive at the finish line by this time.

MEDICAL SUPERVISION
There are medical staff at the race center, they help for racers into trouble at the whole race area during the event.

REGISTRATION

  • The Team Captain will enter the team, the other team members will be added to the team later. When registering for a given team competition, only one Team Captain officer can be filled in with a personal profile.

  • Registration cannot be transferred to another distance or location, nor can it be changed from team to individual (or vice-versa)!
  • On-site registration is only possible if there are remaining slots available.

  • Registration fees can be viewed at the top of the page in the highlighted block labeled “PRICES / person – TEAM 10K”.
  • Prices indicate the fee per person (HUF/person)

  • All prices are gross amounts and are in Hungarian Forints (HUF).

PAYMENT METHODS

  • SimplePAY or OTP SZÉP Card: Deadline: 1 business day.

  • Bank Transfer (in HUF): To the organizer’s account (Balatonman Triatlon Kft.). Deadline: 4 calendar days. K&H Bank: 10401055-50526549-56551033

  • In person at our office: (9-11 Tüzér utca, 13th district, Budapest. Opening hours: Weekdays 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM) – Cash only!

  • On-site at the event (Veszprém): Subject to availability – Cash only!

ATTENTION!

  • Registration becomes final only upon receipt of payment. Registrations not paid by the deadline will be automatically deleted by the system!

  • We cannot accept postal money orders (checks). If a payment is initiated via postal check, the bank will immediately refund it.

  • The total registration fee must be paid in one single transaction.

  • Invoices can only be issued to the name and address provided during registration. It is not possible to split the invoice.

  • For team registrations, you may request a pro-forma invoice by emailing balatonman5@gmail.com.

  • Any payments sent separately will be refunded to the sender, minus bank charges.

ETIQUETTE OF RUNNERS

  • We are all guests during the event. It is essential to return the venue same cleanly at least as we received it.
  • We kindly ask our participants to provide help if they see a runner in trouble, even if it means to loosing race time.
  • We all are runners. We do not differentiate ourselves based on skin color, religion, age, or gender.
  • It doesn’t matter where we come from, or how fast we run. Our love for the sport and the mutual respect for each other unites us.
  • Staff do their best and provides encouragement. We ask the participants to show their appreciation with good mood and smile.
  • True, this is a race, but the rules of fair play must always be kept in mind. Whether winning or losing, it is essential to compete with integrity, dignity, and by meeting both written and unwritten rules. This is what makes the experience unforgettable!
