TYPE OF THE RACE:
Obstacle Course Race – individual competition for kids
From now on, the liability waiver for Wolf Cubs does not need to be printed; the person registering the child signs the document digitally within their StafétApp profile.
REGISTRATION INCLUDES THE FOLLOWING
- participation on the event;
- chip timing for age group heats (in Family heat there is no timing chip);
- medical supervision during the competition;
- cool and uniqe finisher medal (only for finishers);
- optional: Fighters’ Run Wolf Cubs event e-shirt;
- free race photos;
COURSE
- distance: 1-2 km; obstacles: 10-15;
- terrain: not too difficult, fast course;
- type of penalty: no penalties
AGE GROUPS/HEATS
- FROM 4 to 14.99 YEARS – FAMILY HEAT: 1 km distance. Accompanied by one family member per child, without time measurement and awards. The course is primarily recommended for 4-6 year olds, but older children who require parental presence can also enter;
- 6-8 YEARS: 1 km distance, unaccompanied by parents, with time measurement, with prizes in the Alpha heat, without prizes in the Beta heat;
- 9-11 YEARS: min. 1, max. 2 km distance, unaccompanied by parents, with time measurement, with prizes in the Alpha heat, without prizes in the Beta heat;
- 12-14 YEARS: min. 1, max. 2 km distance, unaccompanied by parents, with time measurement, with prizes in the Alpha heat, without prizes in the Beta heat;
START TIMES
Each heats will start maximum 60 participants.
- Family heat: from 2:00 PM
- Heats for 6-8 years olds: from 2:30 PM
- Heats for 9-11 years olds: from 3:00 PM
- Heats for 12-14 years olds: from 3:30 PM

EVENT T-SHIRT
- In 2026, two types of entries are available at the Fighters’ Run events: ECO and Premium.
The price of the ECO package is more favorable and does not include an event t-shirt, the Premium package includes a technical event t-shirt.
WARMING UP
Before the kids heats, we organize fun warm-up for each age group, which is recommended to participate in. We ask that the children be at the start zone at least 5 minutes before their own heat! Who miss the start, it is not possible to start later.
CATEGORIES:
- FAMILY HEAT
- There is no difference between the first and second heat;
- No timing and no prizes.
- ALPHA HEATS – the first heats for 6-8-, 9-11- and 12-14-year-olds
- Competitive heats, where we reward absolute podium finishers by age group based on timing;
- We ask parents to register those children here who are highly motivated and want to achieve the best possible results.
- BETA HEATS – the second heats for 6-8-, 9-11- and 12-14-year-olds
- Non-competitive heats, however, finishers can view their results here based on timing, there are no awards in these heats;
- Parents should register those children for whom the joy of completing the race is important but they don’t want to compete against the others, and run just for fun.
AWARDS
- Among the participants of the Alpfa heats, we are awarding the winners placed 1-3 both boys and girls in each age groups.
- There are no awards and podiums in Beta heats.
AWARDING
- we awarding boy and girl winners placed 1-3 in each age groups in Alpha heats;
- there is no awarding in Beta heats and in Family heat.
AWARD CEREMONY
- At the competition, the results will be announced among the best of the Alpha racers.
- Prizes are awarded exclusively during the ceremony. We ask the athletes to honor the competition and the competitors with their personal presence, and to appear punctually at the award ceremony. Prize winners who do not participate in the ceremony will not be given or mailed a prize afterwards.
START PACKAGE PICK UP

The condition for collecting the race pack is the digital signature of the Liability Waiver in StafétApp by the person who registered the child.

Race packs can be collected on the Thursday before the race at our Budapest race office (Address: 9-11 Tüzér utca, 1134 Budapest), at the venue on the afternoon before the race between 16:00 and 19:00, or on the day of the race. We recommend that parents do not leave race number collection to the last minute and arrive at the event 1.5 hours before the start.

On-site registration and race pack distribution for all heats close 30 minutes before the scheduled start time.
REFRESHMENT
We provide 0.5 liter non gas water at the finish.
TIMING
- We use chip timing (with the exception of the Family heat), the chip must be worn on your wrist during the race. Time results are available on the Runtiming.hu website during/after the race.
- Attention! The chip must be handed in at the finish line! We charge additional fee for the device not returned!
HEADBAND AND TIMING CHIP RETURN

CUT OFF TIME
None at this event;
MEDICAL SUPERVISION
There are medical staff at the race center, they help for racers into trouble at the whole race area during the event.
SUPPORT RUNNERS
All heats are accompanied by adult support runners. They motivate the kids. In case of trouble, the children can turn to them and they will notify the medical team.
KIDS FINISH ZONE
Adults are not allowed to enter the area of the kids finish zone (except for the Family heats), parents can wait for the children who are running after the exit gate at the end of the finish zone. In the finish zone, we hand over the finisher medal and the refreshment to the children.
REGISTRATION
- For our 2026 events, participants of the kids’ races must also be registered via the StafétApp mobile application, well-known from our “ultra” races. Details regarding StafétApp are available by clicking here!
- Once registered, the heat time cannot be modified! Registration cannot be transferred to a different distance or location.
- On-site registration is only possible if spots remain available!
REGISTRATION TRANSFER/SUBSTITUTION
TRANSFERRING REGISTRATION
In the event that a participant is unable to attend, the registration can be transferred to another person, even on the day of the event. Transfers close 30 minutes before the start!
Transfer process:
- The parent of the originally registered child must request the transfer via email at info@fightersrun.com, as the registration must be moved from their profile to the new participant’s parent’s profile.
- Email must include the following:
- The name of the event: “FIGHTERS’ RUN VESZPRÉM WOLF CUBS”
- The name of the original participant and the parent’s registration code / email address;
- The name of the new participant;
- The email address of the new registration owner (parent);
- The new participant’s T-shirt size – a modified T-shirt size can only be guaranteed if it is in stock;
- The date of birth of the new participant;
- Important: the new owner (parent) must also have a registered and completed profile in StafétApp; otherwise, we cannot process the transfer!
- ATTENTION! During a registration transfer, there is NO possibility to change heats or switch categories (from Alfa to Beta or vice-versa)!
- Online transfers can be managed until March 11, 2026. For transfers requested after this date, the re-registration will take place on-site.
- Registration transfer is FREE OF CHARGE!
- Note: Since the transfer takes place between a second and third party, we are unable to modify the invoice associated with the original registration.

ATTENTION!
- Registration becomes final to arrive of the payment; not paid registrations will be automatically deleted by the system after the deadline.
- We are unable to accept payment via postal checks. The registration fee sent by postal check, will be immediately refund by the bank.
- Registration fee must be paid in one payment.
- Invoice can only be issued for the name and address provided in the the registration; it is not possible to split or modify the invoice.
- Any separated fees received will be refund to the sender after deducting bank charges.
The organizer reserves the right to modify the program and the race announcement.
