TYPE OF THE EVENT

Obstacle Course Racing (OCR) Fun run – the distance is completed individually.

REGISTRATION INCLUDES

• Right to participate in the event;

• YOUR OWN Fighters’ Run 575 headband with a permanent race number – click here to read about our race number system;

• Eco-friendly, full refreshment on the course;

• Medical supervision during the event;

• Non-alcoholic beer at the finish line;

COURSE & DIFFICULTY

• The distance is 5 km, with a minimum of 10 obstacles; slightly hilly terrain with well-runnable sections. The surface is approximately 60% asphalt and 40% trail;

• The course map will be published after the event.

AGE LIMIT

The minimum age for the Fun Run is 12 years old at the time of the event. For participants between 12 and 15, a minimum height of 150 cm is required, along with one adult (over 18) companion who must also register and complete the course together with the child. There is no upper age limit.

START TIMING

Heats start from 12:30 PM, with a maximum of 60 people per heat.

EVENT T-SHIRT

Two types of registration are available for Fighters’ Run events: ECO and Premium. The ECO package is more affordable and does not include an event T-shirt, while the Premium package includes a MIZUNO event T-shirt.

CATEGORIES

• BETA HEATS – non-competitive heats: there are no awards or timing in these heats, as this is an experience run;

• Assisting each other is allowed as specified in the Race and Obstacle Rules.

AWARDS

There are no awards or podium ceremonies for the Fun Run.

SPECIAL OFFER

If you pay your registration fee in cash at our office, you can choose one gift item from the merchandise of previous years’ Maratonman events! This promotion is valid while stocks last.

RACE PACK PICK-UP

• The condition for pick up the start package is the digital signing of the liability declaration in the StafétApp,  The QR code, which belongs to the registration and can be found in the StafétApp, must be presented.

• Race packs can be collected at our Budapest office (9-11 Tüzér utca, 1134 Budapest) on the Thursday before the race, at the event venue the afternoon before the race (between 4 PM and 7 PM), or on race days. We recommend arriving 1.5 hours before your start;

• On-site registration and race pack distribution close 30 minutes before each heat’s start time.

REFRESHMENTS

We do not use plastic or disposable paper cups at our refreshment points. Runners must pour drinks into their own cups, bottles, or hydration packs.

• Full Refreshment: For our Fighters’ Run Fun Run event, there will be one refreshment point on the course and one at the finish line.

• We offer <i:am> mineral+energy drink (hypotonic sport drink), providing a balanced mix of carbohydrates, electrolytes, and water.

• Points will also have fresh fruit, dried fruit, biscuits, pretzels, salt, and water.

TIMING & CUT-OFF TIMES

• Timing: No timing for this event.

• Time Limit: None.

• Course Closure: 2:30 PM – all participants must reach the finish line by this time.

MEDICAL SUPERVISION

Medical staff will be present at the Event Center and available on the course throughout the entire event.

“ÖTPRÓBA” POINT COLLECTION

Our event is an official “Ötpróba” point-collecting station! Registered participants earn 1 point, which can be exchanged for guaranteed rewards. Important: Remember to enter your Ötpróba ID in StafétApp to verify your completion!

 

REGISTRATION

• For our 2026 events, you can register via the StafétApp mobile application, well-known from our “ultra” races. Click here for details about StafétApp!
• Once registered, heat times cannot be modified! Registration cannot be transferred to a different distance or location. We kindly ask our competitors to carefully consider which distance they choose, as there is no possibility to switch between distances later (e.g., in case of injury).
• On-site registration is only possible if there are remaining slots available.

TRANSFERRING REGISTRATION

If a competitor is unable to attend, the registration can be transferred to another person, even on the day of the event. Transfers close 30 minutes before the start!

The transfer process:

• The original registration owner must request the transfer via email at info@fightersrun.com, as the registration must be moved from their profile to the new competitor’s profile.

• The email must include the following:

  • Event name: “FIGHTERS’ RUN VESZPRÉM FUN RUN 5K”;

  • The original owner’s name and registration code / email address;

  • The new owner’s name;

  • The new owner’s email address;

  • The new owner’s T-shirt size – a modified T-shirt size can only be guaranteed if it is in stock;

  • If the new owner already has a headband, the headband number; if not, the nickname to be printed on the headband.

• Important: The new owner must also have a registered and completed profile in StafétApp; otherwise, we cannot process the transfer!
• ATTENTION! There is NO possibility to change race or category when you submitting your registration!
• Registration transfer is FREE OF CHARGE!
• Note: Since the transfer takes place between second and third parties, we are unable to modify the invoice associated with the original registration.

CANCELLATION

• Detailed information on cancellation terms can be found in our General Terms and Conditions (GTC).

REGISTRATION FEES

Registration fees can be viewed at the top of the page in the highlighted block labeled “PRICES – FUN RUN”.

• Prices indicate the fee per person (HUF/person).

• All prices are gross amounts and are in Hungarian Forints (HUF).

ATTENTION!

• Registration becomes final only upon receipt of payment. Registrations not paid by the deadline will be automatically deleted by the system!

• We cannot accept postal money orders (checks).

• The registration fee must be paid in one single transaction.

• Invoices can only be issued to the name and address provided during registration; it is not possible to split the invoice.

• Any payments sent separately will be refunded to the sender, minus bank charges.
