We return to the Balaton highlands with our autumn race weekend, our race center is once again the Balaton Fun Park, in Nosztori. You loved Csopak in 2022 as well – depending on the age group, you can expect a course of between 1-3 km and 10-15 obstacles!
The little wolves still have a lot to learn in order to find their place in the pack. They can compete in four age groups and a family heat the Fighters’ Run wolf cubs race. They are accompanied by the staff, so they can move safely along the course.
For the more motivated and result-oriented kids, we offer Alpha heats, where we awarded the 1-3. fastest boy and girl competitors in each age group! We recommend Beta heats to all, whom the primary goal is to enjoy the event. The Family heat is for the smallest ones, who want to run with mummy or daddy.

AGE GROUPS/HEATS
- FROM 4 to 14.99 YEARS – FAMILY HEAT: min. 1-, max. 1,5 km distance. Accompanied by one family member per child, without time measurement and awards. The course is primarily recommended for 4-6 year olds, but older children who require parental presence can also enter;
- 6-8 YEARS: min. 1-, max. 1,5 km distance, unaccompanied by parents, with time measurement, with prizes in the Alpha heat, without prizes in the Beta heat;
- 9-11 YEARS: min. 2, max. 3 km distance, unaccompanied by parents, with time measurement, with prizes in the Alpha heat, without prizes in the Beta heat;
- 12-14 YEARS: min. 2, max. 3 km distance, unaccompanied by parents, with time measurement, with prizes in the Alpha heat, without prizes in the Beta heat;

- In 2024, two types of entries are available at the Fighters’ Run events: ECO and Premium.
The price of the ECO package is more favorable and does not include an event t-shirt, the Premium package includes a technical event t-shirt. - You can see the t-shirt soon, the size chart is available here!
WARMING UP
Before the kids heats, we organize fun warm-up for each age group, which is recommended to participate in. We ask that the children be at the start zone at least 5 minutes before their own heat! Who miss the start, it is not possible to start later.
CATEGORIES:
- FAMILY HEAT
- There is no difference between the first and second heat;
- No timing and no prizes.
- ALPHA HEATS – the first heats for 6-8-, 9-11- and 12-14-year-olds
- Competitive heats, where we reward absolute podium finishers by age group based on timing;
- We ask parents to register those children here who are highly motivated and want to achieve the best possible results.
- BETA HEATS – the second heats for 6-8-, 9-11- and 12-14-year-olds
- Non-competitive heats, however, finishers can view their results here based on timing, there are no awards in these heats;
- Parents should register those children for whom the joy of completing the race is important but they don’t want to compete against the others, and run just for fun.
AWARDS
- Among the participants of the Alpfa heats, we are awarding the winners placed 1-3 both boys and girls in each age groups.
- There are no awards and podiums in Beta heats.

AWARD CEREMONY
- At the competition, the results will be announced among the best of the Alpha racers.
- Prizes are awarded exclusively during the ceremony. We ask the athletes to honor the competition and the competitors with their personal presence, and to appear punctually at the award ceremony. Prize winners who do not participate in the ceremony will not be given or mailed a prize afterwards.
START PACKAGE PICK UP
- The condition of taking the start package is the presentation of the printed and signed waiver, filled by the parrent.
- Start packages will be available and can be picked up on Thursday in the race office at Budapest (address: 1134 Budapest, Tüzér street 9-11.), on Friday at the race center between 16 and 19 o’clock, and on the raceday.
- We advise for the parrents not to leave the start package pick up for the last moment.
- Onsite registration and start package pick up closes 30 minutes before the start time.
- Onsite registration is only possible based on available slots and is payable in cash.
- We kindly ask our participants to arrive on time to avoid waiting in line.
REFRESHMENT
We provide 0.5 liter non gas water at the finish.
TIMING
- We use chip timing (with the exception of the Family heat), the chip must be worn on your wrist during the race. Time results are available on the Runtiming.hu website during/after the race.
- Attention! The chip must be handed in at the finish line! We charge additional fee for the device not returned!

MEDICAL SUPERVISION
There are medical staff at the race center, they help for racers into trouble at the whole race area during the event.
SUPPORT RUNNERS
All heats are accompanied by adult support runners. They motivate the kids. In case of trouble, the children can turn to them and they will notify the medical team.

KIDS FINISH ZONE
Adults are not allowed to enter the area of the kids finish zone (except for the Family heats), parents can wait for the children who are running after the exit gate at the end of the finish zone. In the finish zone, we hand over the finisher medal and the refreshment to the children.

REGISTRATION
- Online registration is available until midnight on Sunday, October 6th / until reaching the maximum limit of participants!
- In case of incapacitation of racer, the registration can be transferred to another person for FREE – find details below.
- After the finished registration there is not possible to change heat time, to switch the registration to a different distance or location, and not allowed to change from Alpha to Beta heat, or vice versa.
- Onsite registration is only possible if there are available slots.
- To register, parent must have a personal profile, which can be created by clicking here (if you already don’t have it). A parrent can register maximum 3 children from one profile.
- It is important to save the name according to hungarian spelling rules, that is LAST NAME first, FIRST NAME last. This is important for registration via Gmail.
- Enter the child’s date of birth in the correct format: 2009/01/12, and not 2009.01.12. Otherwise the system will not show free spots and heats.
REGISTRATION TRANSFER/SUBSTITUTION
- In case of incapacitation of racer, the registration can be transferred to another person for FREE until the race day!
- The process of the registration transfer is the following:
- Before the race the original owner of the registration must manage this process online, because the registration needs to be moved from his/her profile to the new racer’s profile.
- So the original owner (parrent) needs to send in email to info@fightersrun.com with these data:
- name of the event: “FIGHTERS’ RUN CSOPAK WOLF CUBS”
- the name and profile code of the original owner
- the new owner’s name, profile code and t-shirt size – we can only guarantee the modified t-shirt size if it is in stock;
- we can solve the online substitution until 4th of October, in case of later submission the registration will be transferrred onsite;
- Substitution process of the registration is FREE;
- note: the transfer of the registration takes place between a second and a third party, we are unable to modify the invoice of the original entry.
